TOWER PILATES
Slow it down. Deepen the work.
Where precision meets power, and your core wakes up for real.
Tower Pilates is all about connection. Using spring resistance attached to a fixed wall-mounted frame, Tower classes bring you back to your body with focused, intentional movement that feels supportive, sculpting, and surprisingly intense (in the best way).
It’s slower, deeper, and beautifully effective, helping you build strength, improve alignment, and feel more in tune with how you move. With just six spots per class, it’s personal, purposeful, and a little bit addictive.
WHAT IS TOWER PILATES?
Tower Pilates combines classical mat work with spring resistance using the Tower - a vertical frame mounted to the wall that gives you adjustable springs to push, pull, press, and stretch against.
Unlike reformer Pilates, there’s no moving carriage. You are the moving piece - your body learns to control, stabilise, and flow with the resistance, helping to build strength, length, and serious postural awareness.
It’s ideal for anyone wanting to refine their form, activate their deep stabilising muscles, or work with more control and support.

THE BENEFITS OF TOWER PILATES
- Builds serious core strength (hello, transverse abdominis)
- Improves posture, spinal alignment, and joint stability
- Encourages deep muscle engagement and body awareness
- Enhances flexibility, balance, and breath-led movement
- Supports recovery and rehabilitation
- Feels grounding, slow, and deeply satisfying
It’s the kind of workout that creeps up on you - not flashy, just effective.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A TOWER PILATES CLASS
Tower classes are small - just six people - which means more personal support and hands-on guidance from your instructor. You’ll work with both the springs and your own bodyweight in seated, lying, kneeling, or standing positions.
Expect deliberate, intelligent sequences that challenge your coordination, balance, and breath. It’s not about fast - it’s about feeling every inch of a movement and learning to move with purpose.
Perfect for anyone looking to refine their technique, come back to basics, or explore the deeper layers of Pilates.

TOWER PILATES LINGO: EXPLAINED
Tower: The vertical frame with springs attached. Looks unassuming. Isn’t.
Arm Springs / Leg Springs: Resistance springs you’ll use while lying or standing - helps tone, support, and activate.
Push Through Bar: A movable bar used in stretching and strength exercises. Incredibly satisfying to press.
Roll Back Bar: Used for spinal articulation and core control - you'll know when you’ve hit that sweet spot.
Mat Base: No moving parts - just you, a mat, and the challenge of staying controlled and aligned.
As always, we’ll explain everything during class - you just bring your body and a bit of curiosity.
IS TOWER PILATES RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely. Tower Pilates is a brilliant choice if you’re:
- Rebuilding strength post-injury or postnatally
- New to Pilates and want to develop great technique
- Looking for lower-impact but high-effectiveness movement
- Wanting to fine-tune your form before (or alongside) reformer
- Needing more support and structure during class
- A form nerd who loves slow burn and serious detail
It’s slow, subtle, and seriously effective - perfect for curious minds and conscious movers.
