Whether you're brand new to Pilates or just new to Rise, we know there's a lot to take in - from what to wear, to what a "tower" actually is. This is your go-to space for all the little things you might be wondering (and maybe felt too shy to ask).

We believe there’s no such thing as a silly question - only empowered clients.

I’ve never done reformer Pilates before. Will I be OK?

Yes! We love beginners - everyone starts somewhere.
Try one of our beginner-friendly classes like Fundamentals, Core Foundations, or Chill Pilates. We’ll guide you through everything. Our instructors will show you the basics, from breathwork to equipment setup, and help you feel confident from day one. No experience (or flexibility) required.

What do I need to bring?

Just three things:

  • A water bottle

  • Grippy socks (we sell cute ones in-studio if you forget)

  • A good attitude and a sense of humour

We provide everything else - mats, reformers, towers, and good vibes.

How big are the classes?

We keep our classes small on purpose, so you get real personal attention, hands-on support, and space to move.

  • Reformer Pilates: 8 people max

  • Mat Pilates: 10 people max

  • Tower classes: 4 people max

  • Barre & Hot Pilates: Up to 10, depending on format

How early should I arrive?

First-timer? Come 10–15 minutes early so we can show you the ropes.
Regulars? 5 minutes early is perfect - just enough time to breathe before the burn.

What if I’m running late?

For safety (and vibes), doors close when class starts.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in, get set up, and say hi to your instructor.

Can I come if I’m pregnant or postnatal?

Yes - but please get the all-clear from your midwife or GP first.
For postnatal clients, we recommend starting with a private session to reconnect safely with your core and pelvic floor. These are designed with your recovery in mind.

What if I have an injury or a health condition?

Let your instructor know before class - we’ve got modifications for everything.
If you’re recovering, postnatal, or nervous about jumping in, you can always message us for advice.

Do you offer memberships or class packs?

We do both!

How do I book a class?

Easy! Just check out our Timetable Page and book through our system.
You can browse classes, purchase a pack or membership, and manage your bookings all in one place.

Can I cancel a class?

Yes - we get that life happens so we allow cancellations up to 8 hours before the class with no charge.
Late cancel or no-show? We'll charge the full class, but we’ll do it gently. (And maybe send a guilt-trip text like, “Your reformer missed you.”)

Where do I park?

Right outside!

  • On-street parking: free for 1 hour

  • Bunny Lane Car Park: free for 2 hours and just a short walk away
