STUDIO POLICIES
We're all about good energy, safe movement, and respect for yourself, for others, and for the space we share. Here's everything you need to know to keep the vibes immaculate and the reformers ready.
These policies help us keep classes running smoothly and ensure everyone has the best experience possible. This isn’t about rules-for-rules’ sake - it’s about keeping the vibes immaculate, the reformers sweat-free, and the drama at the door.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Life happens - we completely get it. But to keep things fair for other clients and our team:
-
Cancel or reschedule at least 8 hours before your class to avoid a charge
-
Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full class - no refunds or rollovers
-
If you're on a waitlist and a space opens, you'll be automatically added and expected to show (we’ll email you, so keep an eye out!)

GRIP SOCKS = MANDATORY
It’s not a fashion rule - they’re a safety essential.
-
Grip socks are required for every class to keep you from slipping and help you stay stable during spicy lunges and core shakes.
-
Forgot yours? We’ve got cute ones available to buy in-studio.
ARRIVAL TIMES & LATE ENTRY
-
First-timer? Arrive 10–15 mins early so we can show you around.
-
Regulars? 5 mins early is perfect for a calm start.
-
Doors close at class start time - no late entry. It’s not just about courtesy; it’s also a safety thing.

HEALTH & WELLBEING
Let your instructor know before class if:
-
You're pregnant or postpartum
-
You’re managing an injury
-
You’re not feeling 100%
We’ve got modifications for almost everything - we just need to know.
Feeling ill? Please stay home. We'll miss you, but we’d rather keep the studio safe.

PHONE POLICY DURING CLASS
-
Please silence or turn off your phone before class.
If you're on-call or expecting an important call (hello, birth partners), just let us know before we start. -
No filming or photography during class without prior approval.

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE
-
Reformers and mats are cleaned after every class
-
We encourage clients to wipe down their own space too (sweat happens - let’s all be chill about it)
-
Bring a water bottle to stay fresh and hydrated
FILMING, PHOTOS, AND MARKETING
-
Occasionally, we’ll take photos or videos during classes or events to share our community vibes. If you’d rather not be featured, just let us know - no awkwardness.
-
Anything we post will be body-positive, respectful, and celebratory.

WHAT HAPPENS TO LOST PROPERTY
-
Although we do our best to look after your belongings, Rise Pilates Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
-
We may have collected some items left behind by our members. They are kept for 2 weeks. Past that time, clothing is donated to charity and drink bottles are disposed of.

RESPECT THE SPACE - AND EACH OTHER
Rise Pilates Studio is a judgment-free, ego-free zone. Everyone is welcome here. We’re here to sweat, shake, and support one another.
Please:
- Keep noise to a minimum pre-class
- Treat equipment gently
- Respect personal space
We’re proud to be a body-positive, inclusive community. Big energy, kind hearts, no drama. Be kind, be inclusive, be cool.
Any person disrespecting our community will be asked to leave the studio, their sessions refunded, and their account terminated - full stop.
Let us know if you have any questions - we're always happy to chat. Now go forth and rise like the strong, spicy legend you are.
