ABOUT US
Meet Your New Happy Place - where strength is personal and movement is joyful.
Rise Pilates Studio is a welcoming, community-centred Pilates space in Keyworth - created to make movement feel empowering, joyful, and real. Rise isn’t built on perfection, competition, or pressure. It’s built on consistency, curiosity, community, and the belief that every body deserves to feel strong, supported, and seen.
At Rise, we don’t believe in intimidation, egos, or chasing the perfect body.
We believe in showing up (even when you nearly cancel), shaking through that last pulse, and rising stronger with every class. We believe in the kind of strength that stays with you. The quiet kind. The resilient kind. The kind you build class after class, breath by breath - whether you’re on a reformer carriage, a mat, gripping a barre, or stretching in a yoga class.
We’re here to make you feel good in your body and proud of your progress. To move with intention, laugh mid-lunge, walk taller out than you walked in, and maybe just a little smug about your glutes.
This studio wasn’t built to churn people through workouts. It was built to build confidence, connection, and long-term strength - one class at a time.

OUR MISSION
At Rise Pilates Studio, we’re redefining what a Pilates studio can be.
We’re not about silent studios, boring colour schemes, or chasing perfection. We’re about colour, confidence, community and purposeful movement.
Our small-group Pilates classes in Keyworth are designed to meet you exactly where you are - whether that’s day one of your movement journey, post-baby recovery, your comeback season, or deepening an existing practice.
We offer Reformers, Mat work, Barre, Half Barrel, Jumpboard, and Yoga - all guided with thoughtful, hands-on coaching and genuine warmth.
REAL MOVEMENT FOR REAL LIFE
Rise Pilates Studio was born from a simple but bold belief: that movement should feel like joy, not punishment. That showing up for yourself shouldn’t require six-pack abs or perfect leggings. And that every woman deserves to feel strong, seen, and supported - no matter where she’s starting from.
Pilates changed my life - not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. I saw how strengthening my body helped me reclaim confidence, resilience, and a sense of self I’d almost forgotten was there.
But when I looked locally for Pilates spaces that felt welcoming, accessible, and community-centred, I couldn’t find the studio I wanted to train in - so I created it.
I opened Rise Pilates Studio to fill that gap. A space where laughter is welcome in class, where progress is celebrated no matter how small, and where you can walk in exactly as you are - tired, joyful, rebuilding, healing - and still feel supported.

COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION
Rise is proudly community-led, with instructors who bring expertise, kindness, and personality to every session. From nervous first-timers to seasoned movers, everyone is welcomed here with open arms, thoughtful guidance, and zero judgment. That means small class sizes, genuine relationships, and instructors who care deeply about the people in front of them - not just the choreography behind them.
Rise is powered day-to-day by a brilliant team of instructors who share the same values: kindness, professionalism, and a belief that Pilates should feel empowering, not punishing. We celebrate effort, progress, and real human connection - because strength is about more than movement, it’s about feeling confident in your own body and your own story.
Everyone is welcome here - beginners, experienced movers, returners, rebuilders, and anyone who’s ever thought, “I’m not sure Pilates is for me.” (Those people usually end up loving it the most.)
OUR STORY
Why Rise Pilates Studio Exists
We believe that movement is medicine.
That strength isn’t one-size-fits-all.
That your story matters - even the messy, unfiltered bits.
And that everyone deserves to feel like the main character in their own body.
We’re not here to transform you. You’re already enough.
We’re just here to remind you what your body can do, and help you Rise.
Rise began with a simple idea: what if there was a space where people felt genuinely seen? Where classes were powerful, but welcoming. Where form mattered, but so did fun. Where no one felt judged for wobbling, shaking, or starting again.
I opened Rise because I couldn’t find the space I was craving - so I built it myself. I live just around the corner from the studio, and Keyworth feels like home - not just a postcode, but a community I’m genuinely part of. I wanted a studio I could walk to, one that felt woven into everyday life rather than something separate from it. A place where women (and everyone else) could show up exactly as they are - tired, joyful, grieving, rebuilding, healing - and find strength anyway.
I wanted a space that felt different. Bright. Bold. Warm. A little cheeky. A lot supportive.
A space where Pilates is serious, but the atmosphere never is.
Opening Rise here meant building something for the people I see every day - neighbours, parents, friends, people who wanted to move but didn’t want to feel judged, rushed, or priced out of consistency. I wanted Pilates to feel accessible in the truest sense: not dumbed down, not watered down, but genuinely available.
I’ve always believed that Pilates works best when it’s done regularly, not occasionally. So the pricing at Rise is intentionally structured to reward consistency, support long-term practice, and remove the pressure of “making the most of a class” every time you book. No gimmicks. No inflated drop-in rates. Just fair, transparent pricing that reflects quality teaching and real life.
The studio wasn’t created as a destination you save for. It was created as a place you return to - again and again - because it fits into your life. It’s for the ones rebuilding after babies, breakups, burnout or just a really long week. It’s for the seasoned movers and the nervous first-timers. The ones who’ve been made to feel not enough - and the ones ready to rise anyway.
This is my story. But more importantly? It’s yours now too.
